See Something, Say Something is a national public awareness campaign that encourages community members to look for signs of suspicious activity and how to report them.
Suspicious activity is any observed behavior that may indicate someone is planning a terrorist attack or other terrorism-related crime.
Suspicious activity can be a variety of things.
- A person observing and surveilling a building or mass gathering of community members.
- A person asking targeted questions about event logistics and security.
- Misleading you about their business or community affiliations and concealing their identity.
- Attempting to gain access to restricted areas which unauthorized persons do not belong.
- And stockpiling of weapons or unusual items common with making destructive materials.
