Disasters can take a toll on our mental health, in addition to the damage we expect. It is perfectly normal to feel anxiety, grief, and worry during and after a disaster. It can be useful to talk with your family and friends about any of the feelings you may experience. It can also be useful to talk to a counselor. Strain on your mental health is just as impactful as a physical injury. Here are some resources you can use to help with any anxiety, grief, or worry that comes as a result of a disaster.
